According to hvylya.net: The European Commission has submitted to the EU Council a package of changes to the reform plan for Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility assistance mechanism to improve it under current conditions. This was announced by the spokesperson for the European Commission, Guillaume Mercier.

'After evaluation, the European Commission adopted and submitted its proposal to amend the reform plan to the EU Council on September 18,' Mercier noted. The changes aim to increase the practicality of the document, particularly to ensure that certain deadlines are met earlier in the section on energy and financial markets.

'This includes the adoption of the electricity integration package and clearer descriptions of the steps in the reform process aimed at ensuring smoother implementation,' Mercier explained.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance of maintaining strict and ambitious conditions of the reform plan to support Ukraine's further progress on the path to European integration. 'Now the EU Council must make further changes or adopt the amended plan,' Mercier summarized.
