The European Parliament forced the Ukrainian authorities to stumble, urging the European Commission to hurry the process of Ukraine's accession to the EU. The report of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs received support from 55 votes in favor, while 12 deputies voted against, and 3 abstained.MEPs urged the Ukrainian authorities to accelerate reforms in the areas of the judicial system and anti-corruption. They emphasized the importance of transparent and objective processes in all areas of public administration. The emphasis was also placed on supporting Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity by the European Parliament, which is a crucial factor for the country's further accession to the EU.
