According to Главком: Ukrainian singer Iryna Fedyshyn has shared details of her last encounter with People’s Artist of Ukraine Mykola Yanchenko, who died on July 1 at age 66. The cause was a fatal electric shock in a pool on private property in the village of Stryzhavka, near Vinnytsia. Just days earlier, Fedyshyn and Yanchenko had performed together at a charity festival, where he expressed a strong desire to share the stage with her again.
Yanchenko’s death came as a sudden tragedy. According to Fedyshyn, during their final meeting they talked and spent time together.
“Just two days ago we were singing on the same stage, talking, meeting, spending time together. This past weekend we performed together. He wanted to support a charity festival. No one could have imagined those would be our last encounters...”
