The President of India's Helicopter Got Stuck in Concrete: Details of the Incident
In India, a helicopter with President Droupadi Murmu on board got stuck on the helipad because the concrete had not dried yet. The incident occurred during an attempt to land near the Hindu temple of Sabarimala Ayyappa, near the city of Pathanamthitta in Kerala state on October 22.
The helicopter's tires sunk into the freshly laid concrete, causing the helicopter to get stuck on the pad. Fortunately, the President of India and other passengers were unharmed as a result of this incident.
Rescue services pulled the helicopter out of the concrete, and the police and firefighters provided necessary assistance. It was established that the pad had been finished just a few hours before the helicopter's landing due to a change in the landing site because of bad weather. Another news item related to a tragedy in India, where over 10 children died from cough syrup poisoning. The medication was recalled, and law enforcement began an investigation. It is also worth noting that former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that India plans to reduce oil purchases from Russia after a conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
