Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed strikes on Russian oil facilities and aircraft in Crimea: details of the attacks

Damage to oil facilities and aircraft
On the night of September 23, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the linear production dispatch station "8-N" in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. This station has strategic importance for providing the Russian occupation army with petroleum products. A hit on the pumping and compressor station has been confirmed, resulting in a subsequent fire.
It is also confirmed that units of the UAV forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the linear production dispatch station "Samara" in Samara Oblast, Russia, where oil is mixed for the export grade Urals. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the waste materials from the strikes on oil facilities could lead to environmental pollution and transboundary transfer of threats to nature and humans. Attacks on such facilities aim to weaken enemy positions and inflict damage on the enemy in strategically important sectors.
