According to Главком: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a combat update on April 4, detailing a day of intense Russian offensive pressure across multiple fronts. The report highlighted that the enemy conducted massed airstrikes, artillery barrages, and ground assaults, with the most aggressive attacks concentrated on the Pokrovsk axis.
According to the report, a total of 128 combat engagements occurred on April 4. Russian forces launched 54 airstrikes and dropped 159 guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, they deployed 6,144 kamikaze drones. In total, the enemy carried out 2,701 attacks on Ukrainian settlements and military positions. These figures underscore a sustained high level of Russian military activity, now on the 1,501st day of the full-scale invasion.
Situation on the Front Lines
On the South-Slobozhanske axis, the enemy conducted 73 artillery strikes, 7 of which involved multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Six enemy assaults were repelled near Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, and Ambarne, with two clashes still ongoing. On the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian forces repelled four assaults near Kurylivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and Novoosynove, while three engagements continue.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian troops thwarted one enemy attempt to advance toward Lyman. On the Sloviansk axis, two enemy assaults continue near Platonivka and Yampil. No attacks were recorded on the Kramatorsk axis. On the Kostiantynivka axis, 26 enemy assaults were repelled near Kostiantynivka, Pleshiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, Dovha Balka, and Sofiyivka.
The Pokrovsk axis saw 24 enemy attacks, with Russian forces attempting to advance near Bilytske, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Myrnohrad, Novomykolaivka, and Novyi Donbas. Three clashes are ongoing there. On the Oleksandrivske axis, there were eight attempts by the enemy to improve their tactical position near Oleksandrograd, Sichneve, and Verbove, alongside airstrikes near Ivanivka, Dobropasove, Levadne, and Vyshneve, where one engagement continues.
On the Huliaipilske axis, the enemy conducted 10 attacks near Varvariyka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Pryluky, Olenokostiantynivka, and Myrne, and carried out airstrikes near Vozdvyzhensk, Novoselivka, Rybalske, and Liubytske. On the Orikhiv axis, an enemy attempt to advance near Stepove was recorded, along with airstrikes near Stepnohirsk and Hryhorivka. On the Dnipro River axis, Ukrainian forces halted three enemy assaults toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and near Bilohrudyi Island.
