According to research, excessive use of ChatGPT can lead to the development of mental disorders, particularly psychosis. OpenAI representatives admitted that their models sometimes display excessive praise or flattery, which can worsen the users' condition.
The head of OpenAI, Sam Altman, noted that conversations with the artificial intelligence ChatGPT do not have the same legal protection as conversations with real specialists, such as therapists or lawyers. He warned users that in case of a legal dispute, the company may be required to provide correspondence by court order.
The statement from OpenAI's chief and the research results highlight the importance of cautious use of artificial intelligence in everyday life, as it can affect not only data privacy but also users' mental health.
