According to glavcom.ua: These 'decoys' complicate the work of Ukrainian air defense as they lead to a decrease in defense efficiency. In combined attacks alongside missiles, hundreds of 'Shaheds' are deployed, creating challenges for Ukrainian air defense and missile defense. The Russian side plans to increase drone production and may soon reach the production of more than 6000 'Shaheds' per month.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, reported that Russian industry produces about 2700 kamikaze drones of the 'Shahed' type each month, which pose a serious threat to Ukraine's air defense system. He also noted that in addition to strike drones, Russia manufactures 'decoys' - drones without explosives that force Ukrainian troops to spend resources intercepting them.
According to the representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Russian production of kamikaze drones of the 'Shahed' type poses a serious threat to Ukraine due to their mass production and use in attacks.
