Inter's Title Win Triggers Akanji Purchase Clause

According to Главком: Inter Milan are now required to make experienced Swiss defender Manuel Akanji's loan deal permanent. The buy option was automatically activated after the Nerazzurri clinched the Serie A title. Akanji joined Inter on September 1st on a season-long loan worth €1 million, with a permanent transfer fee set at €15 million.

Inter secured the Scudetto early by defeating Parma 2-0. So far this season, Akanji has made 44 appearances across all competitions and scored two goals. The 29-year-old previously played for Borussia Dortmund and Basel.

Coach Kivu Makes History and Inter's Next Moves

Romanian manager Cristian Chivu became only the fifth Inter coach to win the Scudetto in his debut season. He is also the first foreign manager since 2010 to claim the Serie A title. Meanwhile, Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is expected to join Inter this summer.

Winning the Scudetto marks a major milestone for Inter, proving the team's strength under Chivu's leadership. This triumph not only highlights the squad's high level but also opens up new opportunities in the transfer market, including potential new contracts for key players. As a crucial part of the team, Akanji is likely to feature prominently in Inter's plans for the coming seasons.

As Inter celebrates its Scudetto triumph, the impact of Chivu's historic achievement extends beyond just accolades. This victory not only solidifies the team's dominance in Serie A but also sets the stage for strategic moves in the transfer market, including the potential permanent signing of key players like Akanji.
