According to Главком: Temporary traffic restrictions have been imposed in central Kyiv starting February 3rd due to security measures for visiting foreign delegations. The primary reason is an address to the Verkhovna Rada by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The State Guard Department has urged citizens to account for these restrictions when traveling through the city. The traffic limitations will be in effect from February 3rd to 5th, including partial restrictions on Naberezhne Shose in the Pechersk district. Furthermore, until February 6th, vehicle access will be blocked on Volodymyrska Street, buildings 43-45 in the Shevchenkivskyi district, in the direction of Prorizna Street.
In a separate incident, a multi-vehicle accident occurred at 09:30 near the town of Hostomel in the Kyiv region, involving four cars. The crash resulted in one fatality, with the victim's body trapped inside a vehicle. Rescue workers from the Bucha district used specialized equipment to extricate the deceased. Two injured individuals were urgently hospitalized to a medical facility in the city of Bucha.
