Ukrainian Publishers Send 50,000 Books to Soldiers on the Front Lines
The 'Books to the Front' Project
According to Главком: Launched in the spring of 2023 by the cultural association 'Cultural Forces,' the 'Books to the Front' project has become a vital initiative for supporting Ukrainian military personnel. This effort aims not only to provide troops with literature but also to foster their educational and spiritual development during service. Since its inception, the project has delivered over 50,000 books to more than 100 units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Participation and Impact
This large-scale and diverse initiative involves over 50 chain and independent bookstores, as well as individual publishers. Among the books delivered, 4,000 volumes are dedicated to financial literacy, highlighting the project's goal of providing soldiers with practical knowledge for their future.
