In July, a portion of Ukrainians may receive higher salaries and pensions, although no mass increases in payments are expected. Economists predict an increase in the average salary, while the Pension Fund will carry out automatic payments to certain categories of pensioners. This is mentioned in the article by TCN.ua.

Salaries in July 2026: who may receive more

According to state statistics, the average salary in Ukraine has already reached 30,515 UAH before taxes. Economists expect further growth, though the scales differ in evaluations.

Economist Oleg Pendzin predicts an increase of about 1%, or around 300 UAH. In his opinion, the average salary is unlikely to exceed 31 thousand UAH. The main growth will occur among mechanizers and combine operators due to the start of harvesting, as well as due to increased payments to military personnel.

Conversely, economic expert Andriy Shevchishin anticipates a more substantial increase - up to 32,840 UAH. He explains this by the increase in the dollar exchange rate, the rise in vacation payments, and the legalization of salaries due to new requirements for the reservation of workers.

According to the expert, additional influence will come from employees who receive income tied to the exchange rate of foreign currency. It is estimated that there are about 1-1.2 million such individuals in Ukraine.

Pensions in July 2026: who will automatically receive payment increases

There will be no mass pension indexing in July, as it has already been conducted in March. However, certain categories of pensioners will receive automatic supplements.

Monthly age bonuses will be assigned:

  • pensioners aged 70 to 74 - 300 UAH;

  • aged 75 to 79 - 456 UAH;

  • aged 80 and above - 570 UAH.

Such supplements are calculated automatically from the date of birth, provided that the total pension amount does not exceed 10,340 UAH.

Additionally, increased payments may be received by non-working pensioners who are 65 years old or older and who have the necessary insurance experience. For them, the minimum pension is no less than 40% of the minimum wage - currently 3,458.80 UAH.

Working pensioners can apply for recalculation

A separate procedure exists for working pensioners who were not eligible for automatic recalculation in April due to insufficient insurance experience.

If, after the pension is assigned, they have accumulated 24 months of new insurance experience, they can apply to the Pension Fund.

If documents are submitted by July 15, the pension will be recalculated from July 1. If they apply after this date, the increased payment amount will take effect from August 1.

Let’s remember, the rate of salary increases in Poland has reached the lowest level in the last five years.
