The Constitutional Court of Ukraine confirmed fines for overloading: who is now responsible

According to Конституційний суд: The Constitutional Court of Ukraine adopted Decision No. 7-r(І)/2025 regarding safety in road transport. This decision is related to constitutional complaints concerning the regulation of safety in road transport and sanctions for administrative offenses.
As a result of the case review, the court recognized certain parts of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses as unconstitutional. It was also noted that the mechanism for holding individuals accountable in this area should be balanced and take into account the rights and freedoms of citizens.
