Dollar and Euro exchange rates increased on December 30, 2025

The National Bank of Ukraine raised the official dollar and euro rates at the end of the year. The American currency added 15 kopecks, while the European currency added 10 kopecks. This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referring to data from the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to the regulator's decision, the official dollar exchange rate on December 30, 2025, is set at 42.2179 UAH per dollar. The euro rose to 49.6525 UAH per euro. Increases are also recorded in other segments of the currency market.

On the interbank market, following the trades on December 26, the dollar rate rose to 42.10–42.14 UAH, while the euro reached 49.62–49.65 UAH in the buying-selling range. The cash market also reacted with an increase in quotes.

Dollar and Euro rates: market situation

The average selling rate of the dollar in exchange offices rose to 42.44 UAH, while the euro increased to 50.02 UAH. At the same time, the average buying rates are:

• dollar — 41.89 UAH;

• euro — 49.37 UAH.

Dollar rate in January: what to expect

Experts predict moderate growth in demand for currency at the beginning of January. According to Taras Lesovyi, director of the financial markets department of 'Globus Bank', interest in the dollar may decrease by the end of the month due to tax payments in UAH. Under such conditions, the official exchange rate in January will fluctuate within 42.2–42.8 UAH per dollar with a gradual movement towards 43 UAH without sharp jumps.
