Cash Withdrawal Limits at ATMs in Ukraine for 2025

According to ХВИЛЯ: This article discusses the cash withdrawal limits at ATMs in Ukraine as of 2025, considering the restrictions set by the National Bank of Ukraine and certain commercial banks. According to the new rules, the National Bank of Ukraine has introduced a general daily limit for cash withdrawal of 100,000 UAH.

Limits of Individual Banks

Among the largest banks in Ukraine:

  • PrivatBank allows withdrawals of 20,000 UAH at a time every 3 hours.
  • Oschadbank and Ukreximbank have limits of up to 25,000 UAH, which can also be withdrawn every three hours.
  • OTP Bank and CredoBank limit a single transaction to 10,000 UAH, which is significantly lower than the limits of other financial institutions.
  • PUMB, Universal Bank, UkrSibbank, and Sens Bank have set a daily limit of 20,000 UAH.
  • Ukrgasbank has a restriction of 5,000 UAH per transaction and 20,000 UAH per day.
  • Banka 'Pivdenny' also allows withdrawals of 10,000 UAH at a time, but with a similar daily limit of 20,000 UAH.
  • Tascombank has established a maximum daily limit of 10,000 UAH.

These restrictions may affect the financial planning of citizens, so it is important to consider the existing rules when making cash transactions at ATMs.

The established cash withdrawal limits can significantly impact the daily financial habits of Ukrainians, as restrictions on the amount and frequency of withdrawals may complicate access to cash in cases of urgent need. Citizens should plan their expenses in advance and consider these limitations when developing personal budgets. Moreover, it is essential to monitor potential changes in the banks' policies, as they may adjust their rules according to economic conditions.
