Russia carried out 43 airstrikes and dropped 57 bombs in a day: main updates from the front
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel attempts by the enemy to advance into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has conducted 43 airstrikes, dropping 57 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians have used 1,459 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 2,799 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas.
The hottest situation is on the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy is suffering significant losses – in a day in this direction, 142 occupiers were eliminated, of which 86 are irrecoverable. Our defenders destroyed 18 units of automotive transport, seven unmanned aerial vehicles, two control points for UAVs, and three shelters for personnel. The enemy's artillery system and electronic warfare equipment were also significantly damaged.
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions
Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled five assault actions of the occupiers. The enemy also carried out 6 airstrikes using 11 guided aerial bombs and conducted 179 shellings, five of which were from multiple rocket launchers.
As of August 25, at 22:00, there have been 136 combat clashes.
Ukrainian troops continue to defend their positions during fierce battles with the occupiers on various fronts. Russian forces continue their attempts to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, but the Ukrainian military effectively repels attacks and inflicts significant losses on the front.
