Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has conducted two rocket strikes and 40 airstrikes, using two missiles and dropping 57 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians used 1,708 kamikaze drones for the attack and carried out 2,947 shelling of our troops' positions and settlements.

As of August 26, 22:00, there have been 130 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders are actively resisting the enemy's attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Latest news from the front

The hottest situation is in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy has suffered significant losses - 107 occupants were destroyed in a day, of which 67 were irretrievable. Our defenders destroyed three units of automotive transport, an artillery system, 16 unmanned aerial vehicles, and other military equipment of the enemy.

In the Northeastern and Kursk directions

Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled six enemy assault actions, and another six are currently ongoing. The enemy also carried out three air strikes and conducted 170 shelling, including reactive multiple launch systems.

In the Southern direction

The enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, and other settlements.

In the Kupiansk direction

Enemy units attempted to break through to Ukrainian positions towards the settlements of Kupiansk and Nova Kruhlyakivka, but they did not succeed.
