According to glavcom.ua: Since the beginning of the day, the invaders have carried out 1 missile strike and 58 airstrikes, using 50 missiles and dropping 108 guided bombs. There have also been 3391 shellings of Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements. The Russians have deployed 2706 kamikaze drones for the attacks.

As of 22:00 on September 28, there have been 109 combat engagements. Defense units are concentrating efforts to disrupt the plans of the Russian invaders and exhaust their combat potential.

The situation is most tense in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy has suffered losses: 152 occupiers were destroyed in one day, of which 96 are confirmed irretrievable. Significant damage has also been inflicted on equipment and deployed artillery systems. Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed enemy personnel shelters.

Other Directions of Combat Operations
