Low-cost airline Ryanair changed the size of free hand luggage after the scandal
The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will increase the size of the 'personal bag' that passengers can take on board for free. This change comes just two weeks after reducing the size of free hand luggage, which caused a negative reaction among passengers.
The initiative by Ryanair occurred against the backdrop of new European Union standards regulating the sizes of free luggage transport. According to the new rules, the maximum size of the 'personal bag' in Ryanair will increase to 40x30x20 cm, exceeding the European standard.
The adjustment of the personal bag sizes will be made possible thanks to technical changes in measurement frameworks at airports. This will allow Ryanair passengers to take a little more without extra charges.
Ryanair is responding to new legislative requirements from the European Union regarding free luggage transport by increasing the sizes of the 'personal bag' for passengers, making their travels easier.
