According to Главком: In the early hours of July 2, a large-scale Russian bombardment struck Kyiv, hitting an emergency medical substation in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Six ambulance service employees were injured in the attack-three paramedics and three emergency medical technician drivers. Their conditions are reported as moderate. The strike also damaged nine ambulances.
Emergency response teams worked across 59 locations, with 110 ambulance crews deployed simultaneously to manage the aftermath. Across the capital, 28 sites were affected, with 11 confirmed dead and over 30 wounded. The Russian military used a mix of weaponry, including drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as hypersonic Zircon missiles.
Despite the constant threat and damage to medical infrastructure, Kyiv’s medical personnel showed remarkable resilience. During the cleanup of the massive attack on the city, 110 emergency medical teams operated simultaneously at 59 different sites, saving lives and providing urgent care directly at the impact zones.
