Ministry of Finance introduces online financial monitoring: who will submit reports electronically
Introduction of online annual reporting
According to Мінфін: The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine is introducing online annual reporting for subjects of primary financial monitoring starting from January 1, 2026. From now on, the annual reporting (Form No. 2-finmon) must be submitted exclusively in electronic form, which will simplify the reporting process for the relevant subjects.
Reports must be submitted through the portal spending.gov.ua/aml/. The main report must be submitted by January 25, and if necessary, a corrected report should be submitted by January 30. The changes will affect such professions as:
- auditors
- accountants
- realtors
- gambling organizers
- art and precious metals traders
Thus, the new initiative aims to not only optimize the reporting process but also ensure greater transparency of financial operations in Ukraine.
Advantages of online reporting
The introduction of online annual reporting is an important step in modernizing Ukraine's financial sector. This innovation can significantly reduce bureaucratic barriers and enhance the level of control over financial flows, which is critically important in the face of modern economic challenges. A more transparent reporting system can contribute to improving the investment climate and trust in financial institutions in Ukraine.
