UN adopts resolution on the return of children: 92 countries supported Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine welcomed the adoption of the 'Return of Ukrainian Children' resolution by the UN General Assembly. The initiative, which received wide support, demonstrates international solidarity and recognition of violations of international law in the field of child protection, including by Russia. The resolution demands the immediate return of all Ukrainian children and the cessation of any illegal actions regarding them, granting the UN Secretary-General the right to coordinate these processes.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky actively supports this initiative, doing everything possible to return Ukrainian children and their further integration into a safe environment. Together with the support of the public and international partners, more than 1800 children have already been returned home, but this process is still ongoing and requires attention.

The adoption of the UN resolution opens new opportunities for the restoration of human rights and the protection of children at the international level, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in the fight for compliance with humanitarian norms and values.
