Meeting of the Minister of Defense with the President

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, held a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. During the meeting, the head of state instructed the Minister to prepare detailed proposals for amendments to the fundamental documents regarding the defense of Ukraine, including the defense plan of our state, and to submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for approval.

Denys Shmyhal also reported on the missions in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions and the protective measures. They specifically discussed the protection of critical infrastructure and the allocation of relevant resources.

"It is important that the government and the Ministry of Defense fully ensure the necessary funding for the purchase, in particular, of drones for combat brigades, and yesterday financed another monthly tranche of the subsidy for combat brigades in the amount of 4.3 billion UAH. Additionally, 8 billion UAH were allocated for financing the Drone Line"

During the meeting of the Minister of Defense with the President, they discussed important issues of ensuring the security and defense capability of the country, as well as the allocation of necessary resources for the protection of critical infrastructure. The President emphasized the importance of funding for the purchase of drones for combat brigades, which is a necessary element in ensuring Ukraine's defense capability.
