Ukraine calls the UN Security Council over the Russian strike on Ternopil: 25 dead

According to МЗС: Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha:

'Tomorrow at the UN Security Council meeting, Ukraine will bring to the forefront the horrific killing of at least 25 people, including 3 children, in Ternopil by Russia. We call for condemnation, justice, and a decisive response. We have already reached out to all our partners and international organizations, informing them of the consequences of the strike. In light of such brutality, we again call for additional air defense assets and other equipment to protect our people. I have also instructed all our embassies to lower their flags and open books of mourning. We also expect that tomorrow's meeting of the Permanent Council of the OSCE will clearly and loudly condemn this new wave of Russian terror as yet another gross violation of all principles of the Helsinki Final Act.'

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha expressed his concern over the horrific killing that took place in Ternopil as a result of Russian actions. He called on the international community to condemn this act and support Ukraine. Furthermore, instructions were given to embassies to open books of mourning and lower flags as a sign of solidarity with the victims of the tragedy.
