OSCE documents Russia's war crimes in Ukraine: discussions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha met with the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Maria Telearian. During the meeting, the role of international organizations in ensuring peace, security, and accountability was discussed. Ukraine expressed gratitude to the Office for its support in documenting violations by Russia in the temporarily occupied territories of the country.
Ensuring Accountability
The Minister emphasized the importance of objective documentation for holding accountable those responsible for Russia's crimes in Ukraine and restoring justice. There was also an announcement of the intention to continue cooperation with the Office in all areas of its activities, and Director Telearian was invited to visit our country.
The meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with the Director of the OSCE Office demonstrates the importance of international cooperation in resolving conflicts and ensuring respect for human rights. Ukraine reaffirms its position regarding the principles of international law and Russia's distortion of the situation in the occupied territories.
