According to Luchenko, information about Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe participating in a sports poker tournament in the Czech Republic appeared on social media and led to church intrigues. This resulted in an order being issued by the patriarch.

Metropolitan Nestor, who led the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) in Western Europe, has come under church court due to a poker game. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing church researcher Ksenia Luchenko.

The management of the Western European Exarchate has been entrusted to Metropolitan Mark

As a result of the dismissal of Metropolitan Nestor, the management of the Western European Exarchate, which includes France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy, has temporarily come under the leadership of Metropolitan Mark (Golovkov). He has already served as the acting head of the Budapest diocese.

As a consequence of Metropolitan Nestor's participation in the poker tournament in the Czech Republic, he came under church court, leading to his dismissal from office. The temporary management of the Western European Exarchate has been entrusted to Metropolitan Mark.
