The government expedited the construction of 100 base stations: how it will change communication

In May, the government approved Resolution No. 555, which simplified the installation of base stations. This is important for the development of the telecommunications network, especially in conflict zones.

During the first six months, over 100 permits for the construction of base stations were issued faster than before. Now operators can obtain a permit in an average of 25 working days instead of two years as it was before.

In the Sumy region, base station construction has already begun under a simplified procedure. This is very important for local residents, as reliable communication will help reach out for assistance in emergencies. The most permits were obtained in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Lviv, and Rivne regions.

The goal is to ensure stable communication in any community, regardless of its size or location.
