Ukrainians have the right to block spam numbers: instructions for operators
The government has taken control of the fight against annoying spam calls that mercilessly disturb every mobile phone owner. The resolution allowing operators to block such unwanted numbers has already passed and began to take effect on October 2. In a short time, thousands of spam numbers have been blocked. This encouraging news is reported by 'Glavkom' citing the first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
«Spam calls are calls of an advertising nature when a company calls without the prior consent of the user and advertises a product or service. Now every Ukrainian can contact their operator and help block the number from which the call was made,» the message says.
