Young doctors will receive 200,000 UAH for working in villages and front-line areas: conditions
According to hvylya.net: The Ministry of Health has announced the possibility of receiving state financial assistance in the amount of 200,000 UAH for young doctors who have completed their internship and plan to work in villages or on the front lines.
According to the conditions, young specialists who complete their internship starting in 2025 at state higher educational institutions can receive this financial assistance until the end of martial law, with the possibility of extending the initiative.
To receive aid, a doctor must find a suitable position in a rural medical institution or in a territory with active hostilities on the Unified Web Portal of medical worker vacancies.
Also, to receive assistance, it is mandatory to check for available medical positions in the medical institution and to sign a three-year employment contract. In case of premature dismissal, the amount of assistance must be returned within 10 days, except in cases such as military service or disability.
Ukrainian young doctors who plan to work in rural areas and front-line territories have the opportunity to receive a one-time assistance of 200,000 UAH from the state. This is an incentive for doctors to go to the front lines and join the fight for the health of Ukrainians in difficult times. Although the conditions for receiving assistance may seem complicated, they are aimed at ensuring equitable medical care throughout the country and supporting young specialists in their professional activities.
