Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those who perished in the war against aggression from Russia. Today we remember the hero - Stanislav Mykyta.

On December 16, 2024, Stanislav Mykyta was killed while carrying out his combat mission during an attack by an enemy kamikaze drone in the Zaporizhzhia region. At that time, he was only 20 years old. Mykyta, also known as 'Sneakers', was born in Ivano-Frankivsk and had an education as a carpenter-woodworker.

Life and Service

During the war, Stanislav went to Poland but returned to join the military service. He was a UAV operator in a separate territorial defense brigade and participated in various combat operations. During the war, he met his wife Ilona, with whom he dreamed of a happy life and a large family in the countryside.

Unfortunately, his life was cut short on December 16, 2024, during a dangerous mission due to a drone attack. He is buried alongside other heroes in Ugrynevo near Ivano-Frankivsk. The honor and memory of the hero are commemorated by numerous awards and medals for his bravery and dedication to his country.

Stanislav Mykyta is just one of many heroes who gave their lives for the peace and independence of Ukraine from Russian aggression.
