Napoleon's Diamond from Waterloo Sold for $4.4 Million: Who Became the Owner

According to glavcom.ua: A diamond brooch that Napoleon lost during his escape from the Battle of Waterloo was found among his personal belongings. It was sold at auction in Geneva for over $4 million. Besides this brooch, there were other interesting lots at the auction, including a green beryl that Napoleon wore at his coronation and a whip that once belonged to Princess Diana.
Interestingly, the diamond brooch that Napoleon once lost turned out to be part of the family heritage of the Prussian royal house of Hohenzollern and was sold to a private collector for over $4 million.
