Chernihiv Region without Electricity due to Strike on Energy Facility: What is Happening

According to glavcom.ua: Power outages are occurring in the Chernihiv region due to a strike by enemy forces on an energy facility. Energy company workers are taking measures to ensure alternative power supply to hospitals, residential and communal facilities, and social institutions. Transport in Chernihiv is also switching to generators, and mobile operators are operating according to pre-prepared scenarios in case of power outages.

The police have intensified patrols in populated areas without electrical power. The situation following the attack by Russian troops on the energy facility in the Chernihiv region has been classified as a terrorist act. The President of Ukraine warned of a possible symmetrical response in the event of similar actions.
