According to МВС: Oleksandr Druhai, a border guard who held the rank of master sergeant, died on 1 August 2023 as the result of a Russian air strike in Kharkiv Oblast. He had been involved in combat operations since 2015, serving in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and later in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO). After completing specialist training as an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) system operator, he carried out combat missions on the Izium front.
