The coach of the Invictus team Taras Shpuk has died in the war: what is known

According to glavcom.ua: A participant in the Revolution of Dignity and a former volunteer defending Ukraine, Taras worked at the 'Come Back Alive' fund and was one of the founders of the veteran sports development direction in Ukraine. He was a long-time coach of national teams at international competitions, a team coordinator, and an initiator of the development of veteran sports.
During a combat mission, Taras Shpuk, a well-known coach, athlete, former employee of the 'Come Back Alive' fund, and participant in the Revolution of Dignity, was killed. He was an active participant in the Invictus Games movement. Taras was 34 years old, and he was born and raised in Ivano-Frankivsk. His life was inseparably linked to sports, where he engaged in trail running, running, cycling, and hiking.
Taras Shpuk was not only an outstanding athlete and coach but also an active participant in the socio-political life of Ukraine. His death is a great loss for Ukrainian sports and the patriotic movement of the country.
