The management explained that the incident occurred on the afternoon of October 12 on the Síb River near the village of Pavlivka in the Illinets community. The violator had two gill nets with him, the use of which is prohibited. The man managed to catch 9 kg of fish, including 17 silver crucians and 1 pikeperch. In total, the damage to nature amounted to 30,464 UAH.

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the violator under Article 85 of the Code of Ukraine on offenses in the field of fishing. In addition, on September 26, the body of a 52-year-old resident of the village was found in the city of Kozyatyn in the Khmelnytskyi region of Vinnytsia. The circumstances of this incident are being investigated by law enforcement.

The State Emergency Service urges citizens to be careful near bodies of water and reminds: in case of danger, call the rescue service at number 101.
