National Cashback Program Extended Through 2026, with December 2025 Payout Delayed
Program Deadlines Extended
According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ukrainian government has extended the National Cashback and Winter Support programs until June 30, 2026, as authorized by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1510. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to provide economic relief to citizens. However, the cashback payment for December 2025 will be issued later than the standard schedule, as stipulated by the project's implementation procedures.
Typically, cashback payments are deposited into accounts by the 20th of the following month. For December 2025, this payment is now scheduled for February 2026. This specific delay is mandated by Clause 16 of the implementation rules, which shifts the accrual timeline. The actual disbursement of funds remains contingent on the availability of budget financing for that period.
Winter Support Program Mechanisms
The mechanisms for calculating assistance under the Winter Support program will also remain active until mid-summer 2026. Therefore, participants in both initiatives can expect continued support throughout this timeframe, though they should be aware of potential payment delays.
The extension of these programs signals the government's commitment to aiding the population during a period of economic difficulty. The delay in the December cashback payout, however, may cause concern for participants who rely on these funds for essential expenses. It is crucial for the government to secure the necessary budget allocations to prevent further payment disruptions that could impact citizen welfare.
