Naftogaz named the gas price for the population from February 1 and the duration of its validity

In February 2026, most Ukrainian consumers will continue to pay 7.96 UAH per cubic meter for natural gas. This price will apply to customers of the Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine, who make up about 98% of all subscribers in the country. The company extended the Fixed tariff plan for at least until April 30, 2026. This is reported by Patrioti of Ukraine.

Gas tariff in February 2026: what is known

The company noted that the decision was made considering the existing moratorium on price increases for gas for the population.Naftogaz's message states that gas supply for Ukrainian families will continue at unchanged prices.

The price of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter will remain at least until the end of April 2026 without additional reviews.

Gas price for the population and possible changes in the future

At the same time, the parliament does not rule out the possibility of tariff reviews in the future. The Deputy Head of the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada Andrii Zhupanyn from the Servant of the People faction announced a possible increase in utility prices.

According to him, potential changes could relate to:

• electricity

• gas

• heat supply

Among the reasons, he named the mismatch of current tariffs with market demands and the requirements of international partners. At the same time, the deputy emphasized that there is no expectation of market-level tariff transfers until the end of hostilities, so immediate increases are not on the agenda.
