GUR published interception: mercenaries from Colombia received orders to shoot at children

Ukrainian military captured the commander of Colombian mercenaries participating in the conflict on the side of the 30th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation. It turned out that he gave the order to shoot at women and children in Spanish. This information was disseminated by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

«In a recent radio interception, Ukrainian intelligence agents recorded a war crime by Colombian «mercenaries» fighting against Ukraine as part of the 30th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, which is part of the Second Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District of Russia», – the statement says.

It turned out that during the conversation, one of the commanders indicated that it was worth killing everyone who could be an enemy – women, children, and even those moving on motorcycles or bicycles. This concerns the well-known fact of the practice of committing war crimes by this brigade, including the shooting of civilians during previous events.

«Now the Russian command is trying to extend this practice to foreign citizens fighting for Moscow in order to make them accomplices in crimes against the civilian population», – the statement says.

With the spread of this information, it becomes clear that Russia is actively seeking new ways to involve other nationalities in the conflict in eastern Ukraine, including mercenaries from Afghanistan who are willing to participate in military actions on the side of the Russian Federation.
