SAP and NABU uncovered a scheme for the sale of the Chornomorsk base for 13 million

According to САП: Employees of SAP and NABU uncovered a scheme that caused damage to the state through the illegal seizure of property of the State Enterprise 'Chornomorshlyakh'. As a result of the investigation, four individuals involved in these actions were detained. Their actions were qualified under various parts of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Details of the scheme and the perpetrators' actions

It was established that the acting head of the enterprise illegally sold the fleet maintenance base in the port of Chornomorsk, significantly underpricing it with the help of an appraiser. After that, the property was sold at auction to a controlled company and legalized through its inclusion in its charter capital.

One of those detained in this case is a former acting head of the State Enterprise 'Chornomorshlyakh', and the others are also implicated in the crime.

Appropriate preventive measures have been applied to the detainees, and they have been informed of the suspicion. They are presumed innocent until the case is brought to court and a verdict is issued.
