Last night, the capital and its surroundings faced a real tragedy. As of now, unfortunately, 2 fatalities and more than 10 injuries have been reported, including children. Fortunately, rescuers managed to save 4 individuals from the post-apocalyptic horror. Fire and destruction shook several residential areas of the city.

Severe consequences have been recorded in various parts of the capital. A fire broke out in a 14-story building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, resulting in injuries. In the Solomianskyi district, large buildings were damaged: 25- and 17-story apartments suffered significant damage, and there are two injured. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a three-story building caught fire, leading to one fatality; however, a child was saved. The Dnipro district experienced the destruction of six to seven floors of a 10-story building, but three people managed to survive. The Darnytskyi district was affected by the damage of a nine-story building, which caught fire, resulting in one fatality.

In the outskirts, in Brovary and the Fastiv district, there were also consequences. Three people were injured there, and a nine-story building experienced fire and destruction. 52 residents were evacuated due to potential danger, and several private homes were also damaged.

As a result of the nighttime attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region, many people have died or been injured, and the fires have caused significant destruction in many residential areas. Rescue services continue to operate, but residents are urged to remain in shelters for their own safety.
