The death toll from the attack has risen to five. In the city of Brovary, a man born in 1970 was killed, bringing the number of fatalities there to four. Another person was killed in the Vyshhorod district of the Kyiv region. This attack is part of a wider pattern of strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

Consequences of the Attack

The assault left 22 residents of the region wounded, including three children. In the Brovary community, two people are in serious condition. Doctors are providing them with all necessary assistance, and they are under constant medical supervision, noted Mykola Kalashnyk. The mass aerial attack occurred overnight on March 14, with the primary target being the energy infrastructure of the Kyiv region.

The attack caused serious damage to critical infrastructure in the Kyiv region, with the Obukhiv district suffering the most. Due to direct hits and falling debris, thousands of people were left without power. There are also reports of impacts and damage to residential homes, schools, and civilian enterprises.
