Launch of a new program to support rural communities in Ukraine

According to Мін. Економіки: As part of a new program to support rural communities in frontline regions of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the Government of Norway have announced the launch of an initiative aimed at improving living conditions in villages. The total budget of the program is 4 million US dollars, which will be directed to support local residents.

Coverage of the program

The project will be implemented in three regions of Ukraine: Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv. The program plans to cover over 6,000 rural households. Priority attention will be given to the most vulnerable rural families and farmers who need additional support during this difficult time.

This initiative is an important step in supporting rural communities affected by the conflict and will contribute to restoring their economic stability. Given the current situation in Ukraine, especially in frontline regions, such support can significantly improve living conditions for local residents and help preserve the rural population.
