According to Radiotrek — Світ: The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has announced the opening of applications for financial aid targeted at Ukrainians. Each household member can receive 10,800 UAH, with a cap of five eligible individuals per family. Applications will be accepted until June 25, with the deadline set at 5:00 PM. This initiative comes as many Ukrainians continue to face severe hardships due to the ongoing war, making such support critical for those in need.
Eligibility extends to people currently residing in Ukraine, including those living in active conflict zones, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and citizens who have returned to liberated areas. Additionally, individuals who previously received NRC assistance but now meet the vulnerability criteria again may also qualify for the payment.
Eligibility Criteria and Documentation Requirements
However, certain groups are excluded from receiving this aid. These include:
- individuals currently abroad;
- those who have received assistance from NRC or other organizations within the past six months;
- applicants submitting duplicate requests.
To apply for the payment, the following documents are required:
- a passport or ID card;
- a taxpayer identification number;
- a bank account in IBAN format;
- an IDP certificate (if applicable);
- children's birth certificates;
- documents proving vulnerability, such as disability status, pensioner status, or being a parent of many children.
It is important to note that this assistance is free of charge, and the organization will never request PIN codes, CVV numbers, or any payment to process the aid.
