New License Plates in Diia: How to Keep Your Favorite Numbers

In the near future, drivers in Ukraine will have the convenient option to save their license plates through the 'Diia' app without visiting service centers. Now, after re-registering a vehicle or changing a technical passport, license plates can be stored electronically and linked to a new vehicle.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation explained that previously, to save license plates, one had to visit the MPS service center, but soon everything will be possible online.

'As soon as the services appear in 'Diia', we will inform you about this on our resources. Stay tuned for updates,' the Ministry of Digital Transformation noted.

Moreover, the application will allow users to reserve numbers and choose combinations from their own 'stock'. Users will also be able to extend the storage period of their plates and change the method of storage. It is also worth mentioning that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has updated the rules for 'pretty' numbers in Ukraine.

Ukrainian drivers will gain the convenient ability to store license plates electronically through the 'Diia' application, allowing them to avoid unnecessary visits to service centers. The new service will also provide the ability to reserve and select numbers, as well as change the method of storage and extend their validity. The introduction of this innovation will simplify the servicing process for motorists and make it more convenient.
