The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has decided to allocate 12.85 billion hryvnias to prepare 209 critical infrastructure facilities in frontline regions and the Kyiv area for the winter. This decision comes amid a growing need for reliable energy supply. The total estimated requirement for the restoration and modernization of Ukraine's energy sector over the next decade is $90.6 billion USD. This assessment of recovery needs has increased by 34% compared to previous damage estimates.

In response to the rising electricity consumption, Ukrenergo is urging all citizens to conserve energy during the peak evening hours from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The company asks people to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances and to avoid running several such devices simultaneously to reduce strain on the national power system.
