According to hvylya.net: According to the criteria of the Istanbul agreements concluded in Turkey, priority should be given to the return of all seriously ill and severely wounded Ukrainians, as well as young people under the age of 25. Prisoner exchanges are conducted in a combined manner, covering those who fall under the Istanbul criteria and those for whom agreements have been reached.
Negotiations with the opposing side regarding the return of Ukrainian prisoners of war are ongoing simultaneously in two directions. Bohdan Okhrimenko, head of the Secretariat of the Coordinating Staff for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, reported that negotiations are being conducted regarding the implementation of the Istanbul agreements and the organization of numbered exchanges.
Ukrainian prisoners of war are under the closest attention of the government, and negotiations with the opposing side show some progress in resolving this urgent issue.
