Occupied Luhansk Attacked by Drones: Fires Erupt in the City
According to glavcom.ua: On the night of July 1, the temporarily occupied Luhansk was attacked by drones. Fires broke out in the city, and there are casualties. This is reported by 'Glavkom'.
Attack on Luhansk
According to 'Glavkom', explosions were heard in occupied Luhansk - the Russians reported a drone attack. It is also known that large fires broke out in several areas of the city.
Preliminary data indicates that a fuel depot caught fire as a result of the shelling of Luhansk. Additionally, drones flew over Anthracite and Krystalne, which have also been occupied since 2014.
Attack on Donetsk
Earlier, explosions were reported in temporarily occupied Donetsk. The occupiers reported a rocket attack. Since the beginning of the conflict, explosions and fires have become more frequent in various areas of the city. At the same time, there are mentions on social media of cruise missiles and drones. It is likely that there are also damages at the metallurgical plant.
Since the beginning of July, the temporarily occupied Luhansk and Donetsk have been the targets of drone and rocket attacks, causing fires and damages to fuel depots and the metallurgical plant. The situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense, as the conflict continues to adversely affect the civilian population in these areas.
