According to Главком: Ukrainian singer Olena Topolya has disclosed the financial assistance she received from the state to rebuild her apartment, which was destroyed during a Russian missile strike on the night of June 23, 2025. She stated that the government paid out 209,000 hryvnias. However, Olena and her husband, Taras Topolya-frontman of the band Antytila-ended up spending approximately 2 million hryvnias on repairs.

Safety Upgrades Inside the Home

In her remarks, Olena Topolya detailed the security measures they have implemented in the apartment.

“We’ve already installed armored windows and armored doors. Just about everywhere…”

she said. She also emphasized that her mindset has shifted, noting that they have even placed armored doors in the shared hallway.

“And when I realize it’s a missile attack, we go down to the parking garage and stay in the car,”

she added.
