According to РБК-Україна — Lite: Following a large-scale missile attack on Kyiv in June 2025, Ukrainian singer Olena Topolya invested approximately 2 million hryvnias to repair her damaged apartment. The government provided compensation of only 209,000 hryvnias, which covered just a fraction of the costs-specifically for essential repairs like windows, doors, and other basic structural elements.

“We received 209,000 hryvnias. But the renovation cost around 2 million. They compensate for damage to walls, foundational elements, door frames, and window frames-that’s what was covered. On our end, we’ve already installed armored windows and armored doors.”
