There are again personnel reshuffles in 'Energoatom', but a full reloading of the supervisory board has not yet taken place. The head of the State Agency for Restoration, Serhiy Sukhomlyn, is leaving its composition, while the state will be represented by Deputy Minister of Economy Daryna Marchak. This was stated by people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Changes are occurring against the backdrop of a loud scandal known as 'Mindychgait', after which the government promised a complete update of the management of state enterprises. Almost five months have passed, but the supervisory board of the company has not yet started working in full.

Update of the supervisory board of 'Energoatom': what is happening

On February 25, the Ministry of Economy and the Cabinet of Ministers announced new changes. Serhiy Sukhomlyn is leaving the supervisory board, and his place will be taken by Daryna Marchak.

Earlier at the meetings of the temporary investigative commission, deputies pointed out that combining several positions in one official may complicate the work. Now the government has essentially recognized the problem, but the systemic reloading is not complete.

Reloading state enterprises: deadlines without results

After the scandal, the government publicly promised to update the leadership of key companies. This included, in particular:

  • «Naftogaz of Ukraine»

  • «Ukrhydroenergo»

  • «Ukrenergo»

  • «Tsentrenergo»

  • Operator of GTS of Ukraine.

Competitions started at the end of 2025, deadlines have been repeatedly postponed - first to December 31, then to the end of January and mid-February. As of the end of February, final results have not been announced, and there is no feedback for candidates.

Participants in the process emphasize: the supervisory board of 'Energoatom' is not fully formed, the temporary management has not been replaced, and personnel decisions are delayed. Against this backdrop, criticism arises regarding the effectiveness of government statements about the reform of the state sector.

Earlier, Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that despite a new wave of conversations about possible elections, there is currently no ready legislative framework for holding them in the parliament.
